Xbox's "Gears Of War" Is Amazing On My HDTV!

So where do I start with "Gears of War". Well a good place would be is how well it looks in HD. I have a HDTV so it looks awesome on it. The visuals are quite amazing. The characters all have great facial expressions and good voice acting. The single player is about a planet similar to Earth. I would say that it was Earth but not really the same as Earth. Such as cities and countries. So on with the single player campaign. It is extremely intense in every action sequence. It is about human’s last chance at survival against an enemy called the locust horde. Some of the coolest things in the game is how gory it is. You can shoot the locust with a shot gun and they will blow apart like if it was real. Arms, legs, and heads blow off with every killing blow. When someone gets shot in the head it explodes like a pumpkin. While playing on a HDTV you can actually taste the brain matter. Now with that over we have the weapons. One I have to talk about right off the bat is the lancer. It is basically a machine gun but it has a slight difference. Ok well not slight but you get the point. What I’m trying to say is that the lancer has a chain saw on the bottom of it that you can use to cut your enemy into two. It's something that really never gets old. Not only is the single player intense, as you can imagine, it also has Coop for up to two people off line and online. The off line experience is not bad at all it is just split screen but you can still enjoy the HD content just as well. As long as you have a HDTV of course. However the online experience is something not of this world. Being able to talk to your friends over Xbox live and take out your enemy is unbelievable. You will enjoy playing through the single player once, twice, and maybe even three times. Yes if you were wondering about different difficulty levels it has it. First is your normal difficulty which I would recommend to just get through the story and enjoy it. The next one is hard core, you will need to know how to play to get through it. Then there is insane which is just as hard as its name. Another thing this game does great is the multiplayer. The multiplayer is four on four all the time. Some people might be like oh I like larger amounts of people. The thing is if it was any bigger than four on four it would be completely chaotic. Everything in the multiplayer feels just right. It also plays the exact same in the multiplayer as it does in the single player. When viewing on a HDTV the gore really comes in to play in the multiplayer as you can run up to another player and saw him in half. It is also an amazing feeling when you and a friend are sitting there and all of a sudden your buddy’s head explodes. There are many things that you will have to find out for your self in this game so I suggest you go out and buy it.
