By: Iftekh Khan

You live in the NY/NJ metro area and don’t know if you should choose a New York wedding photographer, ? How do you begin the process? Do you start with a yellow page directory and look up New Jersey wedding photographer or New York wedding photographer or do you go straight to the Internet? Can you rely on a friend who thinks she knows every last detail about wedding photography in NJ?

Many photographers from New Jersey love to shoot in NY and vice versa so don’t limit your search–check out New Jersey wedding photographer even if your wedding is in New York.

Bottom line–you want the best photographer possible, one who shoots in the style you want, who is a PROFESSIONAL (not weekend shooter with a digital camera) and who helps you both feel comfortable. Remember to ask lots of questions, take notes and always make sure you are comparing apples with apples!

Remember Your Day with a Digital Wedding Album

Your photographs and wedding album are your lasting memory of one of the most important days of your life. In fact, think of your wedding album as an heirloom, that can be passed down from one generation to the next.

Do you have the time to create an album of the quality that you see above? Is the New York or New Jersey photographer you hired skilled and talented enough to create an heirloom album? Make sure your photographer is a professional, a member of the noted photography associations and active in his/her state. Digital wedding albums, are gorgeous and filled with your lasting memories–go for the best!

Make Every Picture a Great Picture

Think about doing something unique and different for yourself to set off your dream of a dress–choose a piece of wearable art as part of your ensemble whether your wedding is taking place in at a country inn, your local church or on the beach.

Wearable art pieces come in all shapes and sizes and may include glass, precious metals, fabric, flowers, a love poem from your husband on handmade paper–the creativity of artists is astounding!

Your wearable art should enhance your appearance and not overwhelm–a necklace will make an especially beautiful focal point for your wedding portrait and close ups of you and your husband. Your attendants can wear companion pieces–the sky’s the limit!
