Here are 7 simple steps to making money in MLM:

1. Look for the right company because you cannot go far riding a sick horse! Do your due diligence and make sure the management team has the right experience and are doing the right things. Most companies fail because of weak management doing the wrong things.

2. Be willing to learn and look for a leader who has been there and done that to coach you and guide you step by step on doing the right things. You may be riding the best horse but if you do not have the skill, most likely you will fall! You can save so much time, money and effort by avoiding the common costly mistakes most people will make when they started in the business.

3. Look for a company with unique and exciting products supported by science and proven and tested by thousands of satisfied customers! If you do not believe in the products then you shouldn't be doing the business because you cannot be successful promoting something you don't believe in!

4. Look for a company with a simple, proven and generous compensation plan. If you find difficulty understanding the compensation plan then you must look for a better company. A person cannot be successful working a compensation plan that is difficult to understand because this business is about duplication and most people want a simple, proven and generous compensation plan. Many compensation plan has leakages where they do not pay as much as they claim to be. Take a second look at the compensation plan because if you find it difficult to understand, it is a good reason to stay away from this company!

5. Work with a company that has a heart and good leaders who want to make money the right way and make the world a better place. Avoid companies with complicated compensation plan and "rogue leaders" who want to front load you with products that you are not able to consume or sell which also make it not duplicatable! Don't be distracted by money games and "rogue leaders" who are good at hype and misrepresentation and they do make money at the expense of the lower ranks who are front loaded and these "leaders" are as good as those "leaders" in pyramid schemes and scams and are very good at flashing their six-figure income and "wonderful lifestyle". Yes, they can be very deceptive!

6. Be sincere and say what you mean and mean what you say. You must deliver what you promised and always have your clients or team members' interest at heart. Buckminster Fuller said: "Integrity is the essence of everything." Do not "hard sell", do "heart sell" - speak to them heart to heart and find out what people want in life and show them how you can help them achieve it.

7. Look for a company that is an emerging giant and at least five years old because 80% of companies fail in the first five years. If a company in five years is close to one billion dollars in sales, it is a clear indication of rapid growth made possible by a company that is doing the right things!

Learn, leverage and just do it!
